Project Overview
Installation of a new culvert crossing beneath the Charlotte light rail alignment between New Bern Station and Poindexter Road. Awarded on December 8, 2025 with a contract value of $713,487, the drainage and infrastructure work required careful coordination within an active transit corridor, including light rail corridor closures, road closures and traffic detours. The project was completed safely while minimizing impacts to surrounding transportation infrastructure and improving long-term stormwater conveyance and drainage performance for the area.
